Positive dog training

A dog that listens, and walks you enjoy again.

At your home, on your walks and on the training ground on Saturday. With treats and patience, never with force.

How I work

Rewards, not fear

Treats, play and voice. No choke chain, no prong collar, no electric collar: a dog learns better when it is not afraid.

You hold the lead

I coach you, not only the dog. Each session ends with two or three exercises to practise for five minutes a day.

One dog, one plan

The first session is an assessment: your home, your walks, your dog's history. The plan follows from there, not from a ready-made pack.

Honest about the limits

Pain can change behaviour. When a problem looks medical, I ask you to see your vet first, and we work together afterwards.

Group classes on the ground

Small groups, booked in advance. The first group class comes after an individual session, so we start on the right foot.

From the first call to the follow-up

1

A call

Fifteen minutes on the phone, free: your dog, what goes wrong, what you would like.

2

The assessment

A first session at home or on a walk, about 1 h 30, to watch your dog in its own world.

3

The sessions

Short sessions, spaced out so you have time to practise. At home, outside, or in a group on Saturday.

4

The follow-up

A written summary after each session, and you can send me a message or a short video between two visits.

Where I work

At your home and on your usual walks, within about 25 km of town. Further away, travel is quoted in advance.

Training ground: Chemin du Stade, behind the sports hall

"Walks with Gaïa had become a fight. Four sessions later the lead is loose and I actually enjoy going out again."
Claire, and GaïaBorder collie, loose-lead walking
"Our rescue barked at every dog. No miracle promised, a clear plan instead. Six months on, we cross the park calmly."
Julien, and RoccoRescue dog, reactivity
"Puppy school on Saturdays: the children come too, and Moka now comes back when she is called, even at the beach."
